Representing Nigeria at the International Visitor Leadership Programme (IVLP) in the United States of America, Ms. Adetutu Ajibodu, the CEO of Cece Yara, took a stand in the fight against gender-based violence. In an insightful interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Ms. Ajibodu shared her enriching experience in the international arena, highlighting the collaborative efforts with representatives from other African countries. While acknowledging Nigeria’s significant achievements in combating gender-based violence and child abuse, she emphasised the need for continuous improvement. Hence, the need to fortify collaboration between governmental bodies, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), and communities.
